I partnered with Jules Browning, the owner of a local bookkeeping business to create a logo for her newly developed brand.
The goal was to capture a polished, timeless, and professional style while still feeling fresh + relevant.
DEVELOPING THE STYLE
First and foremost - I set out to understand Jule’s preferences and goals for her brand and business.
Polished, Timeless, and Fresh.
A mood board was crafted to develop the style that would be the guiding force for the branding. Lots of initial options were put together - all of which resonated with Jules. We worked together to pare down to core imagery and acutely define the style.

IDEATION THROUGH SKETCHING
Jules wanted two styles of logo for her brand - a lettermark and a wordmark. I sketched out lots of rough ideas and when the time came to review with Jules, our meeting was filled with excitement & fun! We worked in partnership to pare down to a few top choices that captured Jule’s vision. This process ultimately helped land the final design that represented the brand story.

FONTS & COLORS
The colors and fonts were carefully considered to reflect the brand's values. We ultimately landed on a palette of blue as the primary color and gold as a secondary color to signify trust and prosperity.
A classic serif was chosen as the primary font, showcasing expertise, while a modern sans-serif was added as a secondary font for a touch of contemporary flair.

FINALIZING THE DESIGN
The whole process was focused on getting to the heart of Jules’ brand. We worked collaboratively to craft a style that emanates sophistication and timelessness, exploring countless ideas and landing on the versions that perfectly matched her vision. The environment of candidness and receptivity made for both an easy and enjoyable working relationship.
Putting it all together in a digital format - the final product doesn't just grab attention; it tells Jules brand story and sets her up for a successful launch. I look forward to future opportunities to work with Jules as she grows and develops her business.
